How do I clean the revitaliser?
The motor consists of electrical parts and the lid containing it should never be submerged into water. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth and by sucking the dirt out with a vacuum cleaner. The fan and funnel can be removed from the motor’s shaft and cleaned together with the water bowl in cold water. It is important to remove the funnel from the fan to clean the inside thereof regularly (fortnightly) for optimum efficiency. The fan, funnel and water bowl should never be cleaned in hot water or placed into a dishwasher as the material is heat sensitive and can deform. The motor can be lubricated once a month during the cleaning cycle by putting a drop of oil (3-in-1 or Singer) on the brass bush surrounding the shaft while the fan is removed. Please ensure that you assemble the fan and funnel correctly by locking it in thoroughly and then push the fan right down onto the shaft of the motor.
